At MTS, our Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for the overall security of our managed payment system. We employ polices and procedures to protect personal information throughout its life cycle, from data entry to data disposal. These policies and procedures include, among other things:

  1. Requiring the use of virus protection software on all computer systems attached to MTS networks.
  2. Limit access to MTS networks to approved personnel.
  3. Proper disposal of all documents containing personal information.
  4. PCI-compliant data storage and retrieval systems.

We also educate our clients and employees about our information security policies and procedures and ensure that our clients and employees comply with these policies and procedures. These efforts include:

  1. Conducting appropriate background checks on all newly hired employees.
  2. Including information on MTS’s policies in our Client/Employee Orientation manual.
  3. Requiring employees to execute appropriate non-disclosure agreements.
  4. Limiting access to Clients to view information on Customer accounts necessary to Clients processes of collecting payments.
  5. Imposing appropriate disciplinary measures for breaches of policies and procedures.
